Caledon move into champions league contention
Week 6 of the Armagh Soccer Leagues winter
league is now in the books, on a perfect night for football we had one of the lowest goals scored in a long time. Only 6 goals in 3 games shows competition was high tonight. The two top teams met in what was a bruising encounter played by two teams determined to set a tone for their title challenges. In the end a 1:1 draw was a fair result. Meanwhile Caledon moved into the top 4 for the first time with a 3:0 win over Polonia.
In the only other game of the night Unathletico Madrid were kept scoreless by a hard working Kings of Lyon who continue their movement up the standings. Only one week left before the fight for champions league qualification is still up for grabs in what shuld be an interesting night of games.
